The food is awesome it's a must try I'm sure you will love it
I'm combining 2 visits one for lunch and one for dinner. Both meals were nearly flawless in terms of service, food, and ambience. Its one of those places close by that we say--why don't we come here more often. One of the best fine dining choices in fairfield county --the combo of food and atmosphere is hard to beat!
I doubt I would eat better Chinese in China, let alone anywhere else in the whole world. These folks nailed it. I will go to my grave with a container of General Tso's and House Fried Rice. If I end up falsely accused of a heinous crime and placed on death row, Peking will be my final meal.
I have to edit my review because I was so blown away by my most recent order, that the soft praise from my overall experience, that I'm now revising, simply doesn't do this place justice.
The owner is a local hero, BANG BANG! This place is always hopping. Therefore the produce is fresher than most. Granted it is not fine dining by any means, but for fast, delicious service, you will not find better. I am from Norwalk. I hate Bridgeport. Been here too long. Now, Bridgeport hates me. Can't wait to move. If I ever return, it will be because these guys make the best Sezwuan fried tofu in Fairfield County and that is enough grace to make us all get along. At least during Luncheon specials...
Decent place to buy Chinese food.
It seems unlikely that such consistent quality and customer service can come from the cold wasteland that Bridgeport Connecticut definitely is, but believe me, Peking Restaurant is the gleaming light at the end of the tunnel. If all the Chinese places in the world disappeared, and Bridgeport had nothing other than rampant crime and a 99% chance that you would be killed if you passed through it, I would take the risk and try to get some of Peking's Chinese food. It is that amazing.

I will reiterate though: This is the best Chinese food in Connecticut. I mean that wholeheartedly. The food is always fresh, cooked to perfection and seasoned so well that even when I'm full from eating it, and my pants' button has to be undone, I can find another reason to have another bite and not hate myself.
As someone who isn't religious, Peking has made me see the light. God bless this place and the extraordinary chefs that cook these exquisite meals I eat when my soul is in desperate need of comfort or when I'm just trying to treat my taste buds right.
