This place is is located in an old factory building and the space was crafted to resemble places like BAR and Colony. The house made beer is a bit disappointing, so I usually go with one of the many great local and regional beers they have on tap. The pizza is okay. BAR's pizza is much better (and cheaper). Staff still hasn't gotten it together. Sometimes, the service is great, other times, we go 20 minutes or more completely ignored and this seems to be random and have nothing to do with whether or not the place is crowded.

I have read the mixed reviews on google and to be honest don't appreciate the "alleged" refusal of service to a uniformed police officer carrying a duty weapon.

I will go back until I no longer have a reason to.

My cousins and I were going to New York and decided to stop here by recommendation from a friend. We stopped and it was a nice brewery for food and a drink. My cousin ordered the flight of beer and they were pretty good and reasonably priced. The place is great for beer, food, and for people like me who aren't big beer drinkers they also have some wine options too. There is also a game room where they have giant chess and corn hole for those of us who can't sit still and it's good for kids. I enjoyed that they have they out door area but it was a little cold so the down side was that we weren't able to sit because we weren't ordering food so that was part of the service I didn't appreciate. I like when places can be flexible to accommodate especially since there were a lot of empty tables.

Great beer. And really great pizza. Recommend getting a white pie with eggplant ricotta and buffalo chicken. Sounds weirs but he buffalo sauce made the meal.

Besides that fact, I went on a Sunday evening and the service was quick and efficient. The house brewered beer was quite satisfying and the pizza was great. The menu and pizza reminded me of BAR in New Haven.
