And we are still on the phone....nothing is resolved
We received a call yesterday stating that delivery on Saturday is on schedule. This morning also received a call about what time the furniture will be delivered. The two young men were very professional and explained everything they were doing step by step.

Although, I do ask for Bobs team in general to see how they can come to a satisfactory agreement with their third party delivery staff on time frame accommodation for customers to avoid any back and forth scenario such as the ome that occurred in my case. Not everyone has other people living with them that can wait an entire day or certain time schedule to the convenience of the warehouse deliveries. In fact like in my case 2 delivery schedules were missed due to lack of understanding of my available time frame. Although, I am happy with my bedroom and the people who delivered it, it took a whole week to receive. Furthermore the time window emailed a day before delivery was acceptable. I still almost missed it because the delivery personal came 2 hours earlier than the text stated, lucky that I was in route to the apartment and they were able to wait if not I would've have to reschedule again being that not satisfactory and unfair to a customer. I hope this can be resolved, cause if so, Bob's Furniture would be "a place of entire hassle free shopping".
The team at Bob's were awesome. From the sale reps to management and office I can not complain. They gave it its all for my furniture to arrive,while some complications on delivery terms but, at the end there was light.

Terrible, the company and website always talk about how the customer satisfaction is a priority. That could not be be further from the truth. We had a good mattress from there, and decided to upgrade to a King. We have a comfort re-selection than We had a malfunction. Our mattress dipped over 4 inches - we want a return, but were told we have to select another mattress before we could return. This is after hours on the phone with their 1-800 number. Managers from physical locations, different stores, and the 1-800 number no one knows the policy and now we are screwed. Now we are on the phone again and they are saying the supervisors notes are false from our previous call saying we would get a return. This place is absurd. I’ll never buy a single item from this place again. In fact I would warn everyone from purchasing something from here. If your going to purchase from a discount store, anywhere but here!!!!!!
Things went downhill after I gave them my credit card. I decided to get my wife a new livingroom set for Xmas, I was told it would be delivered on Dec 21st, a few days later I get a call telling me part of the set won't be delivered until next year January 3rd 2018. So now I'm thinking, it's not that big of a deal, I mean the sofas and lamps are still coming, I can wait a bit more. But I still felt annoyed that there might be a possibility that the sales representative might not have been forthright with me before I handed over my credit card. Anyway, it's Dec 21st, I took off from work to make sure I am home to inspect the merchandise (all sales are final if they deliver and you accept) for defects and it's what I wanted. I'm out of money I would have earned that day, but I'm thinking it's worth making sure I get what i paid for. Now I start receiving text updates that the delivery is 10 minutes away, I get outside on the corner in my car looking for a truck (my building has 2 entrances, I'm position to look at both of them). I see a large truck pass the building, no one got out, but it slows down some and I'm thinking well if it was them, the truck would be marked and they'd probably give me a call. Sounds reasonable right ? I mean Papa Johns Pizza does it, and they deliver $20 pies, why wouldn't a furniture company put some more effort into their business in delivering over 1k in merchandise ? Turns out it was them, I called and asked them to come back, an hour later I get a call telling me they can't and the next delivery is 2 days after Xmas. Now I'm here trying to save Xmas, spending over $200 for a Uhaul and another day of missed work to collect my merchandise that is 77 miles away in New London, Connecticut. Moral of the story ? Don't do business with a furniture company that has less standards on delivery than a pizza chain. No telling if I'm even going to get my furniture, should have went to IKEA...I'm depressed 3 days out from Xmas.
The sales associate who assisted me was Joel Vidal. I must say he was very professional as he did not hound me as soon as I entered the store. Instead he introduced himself and offered to provide assistance if necessary. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture and services offered by Bob's. He made my shopping experience a very pleasant one. Joel is now my personal Bob's sales associate. I look for him when I go to the store and if he is not there I tell them I will return when he is working. He is a great asset to the Bob's Furniture family!
