Not the same as it was. I grew up going to Whites, but haven't been there since the new owners took over. For what it is, the prices are put of whack for the area. $19.25 For steak and eggs is kind of steep for the quality of it alone, but i think it's because of the amount (8oz) on the Plate. And it's CASH only, so I'm not sure why theyre a bit pricey. The place was busy and the people polite so I'm giving it 3 stars for that but knocking off half a star for ONE order of onion rings and ONE hot chocolate costing me 8 bucks with tip. Seriously? I enjoyed the kitchsy-ness of the decor though, as it's diner shabby but not run down. And I'm sorry but shouldn't the outside of WHITES diner NOT be blue? Oh well. If you like shabby kitchsy, stop in. Just bring your ATM card.
